I was living in Shreveport when I was 13. Had a nightmare in which I was struck by lightning in the parking lot at a Rangers game and died in my dream as my Dad called my name. Woke up and there was a woman standing in my room. She was solid but glowed very dimly. I sat up in my bed(so I wasn't frozen or dreaming). She then waved at me in this long motion with her arm. She waved three times and on the third time I started to get out of bed and she disappeared. I sat in this chair in my room the rest of the night and waited for daylight. I was scared shitless at the time but its comforting knowing theres an afterlife of some kind

My cousin owns an old plantation house. It's supposed to be haunted. Other people have experienced things. I've stayed there several times and nothing except old house sounds.

I've never seen a UFO, either

Yeah, this will probably be the case when I get around to trying it.

Strange repeating, musical sound woke up me and the family. Was coming from a chair as if someone was playing an old instrument I've never heard.

Quickly found Jesus after.

Spending the night at a friend's apartment in the French Quarter, I woke up and there was a black silhouette figure standing at the door. Only way to describe it is that it looked similar to a large floating/hovering translucent black sheet.. And it was really angry.. Sinister.. Very bad. It was or seemed real because I saw the room and details of the room, book on the nightstand, etc. exactly as it was, and I'd never spent the night in that house before. I started praying (being Catholic) and the image flew through the room, and out the window.
When I told someone that I trust, a very prominent and long time New Orleans resident about it.. His response was.. "Well, you know.. That apartment is notoriously haunted.."

When I was younger, my grandfather, who I was very close to, passed away. As I shut my eyes and started to doze off the night of his funeral, I heard somebody whisper something. It was a nickname that only my grandfather used to call me. I immediately jumped out of bed and ran to my mom in the living room. I totally could have been dreaming the whole thing, but it scared me, nonetheless.

my grandpa had just died, and the morning after the funeral, i went to make breakfast. i started to pour some milk into a bowl, but it was all clumpy and spoiled. the expiration date wasn't for another 2 days! i was seriously scared shitless. i sat in a chair in the kitchen until sunrise the next day just completely scared shitless but not really that scared because there's an afterlife.
