Yup heading straight for it. Looks like a heavy storm though . No hail, but high winds and sideways rain. It will last about 25-30 mins.

Yeah. Someone insisted in seeing an apartment in that shitshow just now. I'm soaked for the next 3 hrs.

Careful ASPY... Its rough out there. But if you are leaving BR it may be gone by the time you get there...........

Radar indicated rotation just south of Hammond...
AT 239 PM CDT...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO
WAS LOCATED OVER PONCHATOULA...OR 7 MILES SOUTH OF HAMMOND...MOVING
EAST AT 30 MPH.

HAZARD...TORNADO.

SOURCE...RADAR INDICATED ROTATION.

IMPACT...FLYING DEBRIS WILL BE DANGEROUS TO THOSE CAUGHT WITHOUT
SHELTER. MOBILE HOMES WILL BE DAMAGED OR DESTROYED.
DAMAGE TO ROOFS...WINDOWS...AND VEHICLES WILL OCCUR. TREE
DAMAGE IS LIKELY.

* THIS TORNADIC THUNDERSTORM WILL REMAIN OVER MAINLY RURAL AREAS OF
SOUTHEASTERN TANGIPAHOA PARISH.

Definitely saw the rotation in the sky with this warning. I could see leaves flying in low level clouds.
Now we have recieved inch of rain in 30 min
