Obviously over. You can't do a one handed tear with it under. You just end up pulling more.

The stand up wipe boggles my mind. You're actually giving yourself more to clean up that way. Apparently like 45% of people do it!

Never a reason for it being under but women tend to think that under is correct.

Under people are disgusting people.

You know they never clean that part of the wall that gets incidental contact.

If I can convert JUST one...

Well - That's pretty much my modus operandi.

This, if it's not sitting on the tp holder, it's on the toilet tank...what's wrong with women changing the tp?

I really never got the logistics of the sit down, especially in a tight public stall. You have to create enough space to get your hand in there and not touch any disgusting toilet surfaces. A true stand is obviously going to create some "extra contamination" issues, but if you get a good spread leg hover-squat, you get almost the same experience as when sitting and it seems a bit easier.

As far as toilet paper, we have a little metal hanger on the side of the toilet that just holds the roll.

I used to stand up to wipe until I saw other human males sitting while wiping.
I'm sure that there is something to do with potty training... finishing your shite and screaming, "MOM! COME WIPE ME!" and you'd obviously stand-up and turn around...

I didn't start wiping while sitting until near the end of HS.

Over wins!

ANY wins if the last person used up the roll, and doesn't have any consideration for anyone else but themselves. Especially when the stock of TP is walking distance from the crapper.

Under. My dad said it had to be that way when I was a kid.
Therefore, it's been under ever since

I have always preferred under, and now my nee family does, as well. I like the look better, and I can't stand how the a/c can sometimes blow the paper against your leg in certain bathroom configurations.

if you have a pet cat, the over will lead to wasted paper, so the answer depends on if you have a cat.

I feel like I use less when it's in the under position. I have to always adjust it when my wife puts it on. But I'm the one who pays for it.
