Of course not peasant. These rules are for ye, not for thee.

Eat the bugs, live in the pod, sleep in the sweat, own nothing and like it.

They will have their galas. You will simmer

They tell you

They tell you day is night and up is down,
That colors only matter if they’re black or brown,
That the things you see with your own eyes are not real,
That you have to trust them when they tell you how to feel,
That a man is a woman when he has a 5 o’clock shadow,
That a lie is truth if it comes from Rachel Maddow,
That a protest is peaceful when you see them loot and burn,
That you’d best stand down when they try to take what you’ve earned,
That you’re born with privilege even if you came from the bottom,
That you don’t deserve to have things when they’ve no idea how you got ‘em,
How you’re guilty of sins of the past that you had no part in,
How if you disagree, you’re automatically wrong from the start when,
Crimes they’ve committed,
Must be forgiven,
But yours get you ruined,
Deeds long in the past,
Are dug up and rehashed,
Never mind what they’re doin,
Rules for thee, but not for me,
Their mantra is clear,
They’ll use their position,
For an inquisition,
And rule you with fear,
If they regain their power,
They’ll rule from their tower,
And those who won’t cower and kneel,
Will be made to comply,
It’s surrender or die,
Rights stripped bare with no trial or appeal,
The only thing that stands between,
The tide of tyranny,
Is those who rise, against their lies,
And make the sacrifice to keep us free.

Your house gonna smell like damp armpit if you do this

Yep. If you live in a really humid place, as most of us here do living in the southeast, a lack of good air circulation can result in mildew forming in places like tile surfaces that might not be cleaned frequently. I’ve seen that happen in an elderly person’s home who was very cold natured and rarely ran their AC.

AC doesn’t just keep things cool, it provides air circulation for a home.

Yeah sure and I'm sure all fed employees will dutifully follow those suggestions. Not in this house. I have to work for a living.

Didnt this get discussed like four years ago? Or is soemthing new? In Aug of 2019

“The ENERGY STAR program has not released a report on this topic. The ENERGY STAR program is not recommending that thermostats be set to 78 degrees F or any other temperature during the cooling season.

In order to save energy, the ENERGY STAR website recommends owners of programmable thermostats increase the air conditioning temperature setting by 7 degrees F when homes are unoccupied and by 4 degrees F when occupants are asleep. The website illustrates this approach with an example of pre-programmed, energy-saving temperature settings in some programmable thermostats (which includes a 78 degree F setting). All thermostats are designed to allow for adjustment to ensure personal levels of comfort when people are in the home.”

A federal program is taking some serious heat for recommending that home air conditioners be kept at no less than 78 degrees during the spring and summer.

Energy Star, a program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy, said people should set their thermostat to 78 degrees when they are home and "need cooling" in an effort to save energy during the hotter months.

And when you're sleeping or away, the suggested temperatures go up. When sleeping, it's recommended that the thermostat is kept at 82 degrees, and when away, people should set the thermostat to 85 degrees, Energy Star said.

Trigger warning...a fact and a recommendation is sure to trigger the snow flakes....

Sure thing.

Whom should I tell my wife to speak with at the Fed office when her hormones, or lack thereof, kick in?

One phone call from her and this policy will be change with the quickness!

Nancy Pelosi has multiple restaurant grade refrigerators in her house. I bet those things draw a lot of power and aren’t what the EPA would recommend for a home.

in the south, that would result in humidity in the space above 60% and thus mold growth.........

Its the dehumidifying effect inherent in the exchange of warm air and cold coils resulting in condensation of moisture in the air which is then routed outdoors in most systems are into a reservoir in some which has to be removed. Put a bucket under the condensate drain line in most of the south and it'll shock you how much water it collects.
