Serious Question. I need help

I have a older sister, who we will call estranged, who's house burned down today. I love her to death but dew to drug use and making extremely bad choices, I have had to cut ties for my own health. I haven't really talked to or kept up with her in probably 10 years but knowing what has happened I feel like I have to do something so I have decided in a anonymous donation. How much should I donate? I'm really torn

Its your sister. She has gone through a tragic situation. Go talk with her, get a feel of her situation. You might not want to give her money, you would probably be better off going buy shite she lost in the fire.

Well what are you trying to accomplish?
Get her a new house?
Show her you care?
Don't do it anonymously. If her life is healthy and she won't blow it on meth consider donating over 1,000.
If she'll blow it just give her a couple hundred.
The more important thing is have a relationship with your sister. Family are the only people God gave you that you didn't pick yourself.
