Is For Sale By Owner BR still a good and active site? I'm not sure, I don't see lots of new listings. I see several people online using Home Shopping Tours. Is that a good site and worth the $. What are the go to sites for FSBO? Zachary/Feliciana Area.

FSBOBR

Fsbobr, then share the link on the Facebook resale sites, along with zillow.

FSBO is a good site. Plan on getting a lot of spam and calls from realtors asking if they can help.

Just wondering, why not hire a realtor?

Realtors are great and serve a good cause but the answer is $$.

Like 6%? Seems like a realtor could be beneficial in helping to find eager buyers. We use a realtor to deal with our tenants. The paper work, background checks and meeting tenants is a hassle. The fee for using a realtor is first months rent.

We put our house on Zillow (in Central) and had multiple offers the next day. Buyer had a Realtor, so we had to pay him 1.5%, but was worth it. It all just depends on how the market is in your area.

FSBO just seems risky to me. Then again I guess it depends on thr value of the house. If you're selling your 200k, 10 year old ranch style house I guess FSBO is not a bad idea.

In my area i feel like I see realtor signs and hardly ever FSBO.

Hire a Realtor

A realtor will get it sold quicker without a doubt. In 3 months when you get fed up with the BS, you'll see my point.

Make sure you do the work a good realtor would do.

Spam the shite out of Facebook. Hit those local marketplace pages and bump your post every other day or so until they ban you.

I sold FSBOBR in a month. Kept all profits. I see no downside.

If you price your home accurately right in BR area right now, it will sell no matter what. Houses are moving quickly.

The realtors with actual buyers are just going to bypass your house if it is for sale by owner.

It still blows my mind how fast BR is growing. To my knowledge, there isnt any difference from 2006 (when I left br) till now

Any house that's been renovated and kept up in my area will sell within a week with or without a realtor.

It would be easier to join the Matrix Portal with a Realtor

No idea why people use realtors. Cut out the middle man and do it yourself. You can find basic contracts online. And pay the $500 or so to get your house on the MLS listings.
