More impressive human achievement:

Bringing back an extinct animal, or walking on mars?

Speaking of meat, what would a mammoth taste like?

In 1951, the Explorer's Club served Mammoth meat at their annual dinner in NYC. I remember reading about dogsled dogs or wolves discovering and eating thawed out Mammoth in Russia (or the Soviet Union). Too lazy am I to the Google for it.

Probably nasty like bear meat. Too much fat.

I'd prefer they bring back Audrey Hepburn in her prime.

The wood that didn't float: Natalie Wood.

Hepburn would do in a pinch though.

Yeah, but the Sumbitch looks dashing in a suit. He's got fantastic hair.

Kidding, he knows more than he's said.

Why? She donated the meat to a nearby village didn't she?

Real smart. Teach them how good giraffe meat is so they can hint it into extinction

You think Africans haven't figured out how to hunt yet?

Those villages haven't figured out much in the last 100 yrs.

Specifically though, teaching them giraffes are edible probably isn't smart.

How much would you pay to see one IRL?

Depends on what else I had going on that day. I'd probably pay the same amount that I'd pay to go to a zoo and see other live animals, which is maybe a $20 admission every 20 years or so.

No, they're not...not even a little bit.

Did you even read the article you posted?

Those villagers depend on their cellphones homes more than we ever could. Some of those rural countries have about 2-3 cellphones per person. Someone taught them that.

despite the fact that hunting money is a major driving force for the conservation of the endangered animals in africa?

downvote all you want, it's the truth.

Mammoths did not live in the Jurassic period. If you meant that as an aside

DNA has a half life, and 65 million years is far beyond the expiration date. Sadly, we will not have a Jurassic park
