Are we talking about the MRB or part of the elevated highway collapsing. If the MRB collapsed everybody on the bridge would die, but traffic would be so backed up nobody would be running of the edge.

I think they could have it temporarily fixed quickly, but the good thing is it would force the loo to be made. I also never understood why the I-49 corridor was never finished.
Would cut a lot of traffic if west traffic from NOLA could bypass BR.
