Going to the hobby shop every Saturday morning and spending every nickel and dime plus my allowance I could find on cards then looking them up in the Beckett. Sports card industry is one of the few things the Internet changed for the worse

These were used to hold credit card applications in customer service area of department stores.

Damn I loved filling out forms. My parents would let me apply for credit cards every time we had to wait somewhere.

It was all fun and games until I learned to fill out these forms..

I did that for ONE CENT TAPED and sent back and then got a box in the mail full of 8 tracks, it was heaven!. Then when dad got the bill

I still have a few hundred, all in pristine condition, I even have all of the Beatles albums from their original pressings, going back to Capitol days

it was still around then? I don't think anybody ever paid the huge bill afterwards. $78 to a hundred dollars back then, was a million. now that I think about it I got records as well.
