Remember when California had a chance to recall Gavin Newsome?

Pepperidge Farm remembers.

Those roads look almost as bad as New Orleans.

Looks the same in DC and Atlanta. Suburbs are packed, but in the cities people are not coming back to office work.

The whole area is like that, and has been all my life. When I was on Liberty as a young sailing lad, I often spent the time walking around Berkeley, taking in the sights. I was always struck by the utter disparity. Bums and criminals on the sidewalk begging for change, while sports cars that cost six figures cruised Telegraph Ave. right in front of them. And this is a college town, not tech-broville. There's a LOT of money in NorCal, and they wave it in the face of the street trash.

The Dems flooded the airwaves with commercials saying the recall was started by the same "white supremacist groups that stormed the capital". These commercials were star-studded with Pelosi, Obama, etc.

I visited San Fran in December and had a great time. Never once felt unsafe. People should get out and experience more. It's a great city, regardless of dumb policies.

You’re in the FiDi, which is practically all office space and all the offices are WFH, so of course it’s quiet. My neighborhood (Hayes Valley) is just as bustling as usual.

This all the way. Much of the city is just as beautiful and pleasant as it ever was. I do encounter more homeless and addicts than I did down south, but I’ll take that any day over the sky-high violent crime of BR, New Orleans, and Shreveport.

I stayed in downtown Houston a few months ago near Minute Maid and it was definitely busier than this.
