Has anyone listened to it? Long road trip coming up and someone recommended it.

I just finished episode 3 and am hooked. I thought episode 1 started slow so sont turn it off until you at least get finished with episode 2

I enjoyed it. I liked the first half better than the second but it's definitely worth a listen.

The last two or three episodes suck. It took a serious nosedive after the first half of the series

A buddy recommended it and I listened to it almost straight through with every free minute.

Good listen

I almost thought it was fake at first but after hearing the group of rednecks together, no group of actors could mimic those accents and speech patterns so damn well.

Uncle jimmy is worth the listen just for him. I crack up every time I think of him in the background yelling

Narrative really falls apart after the first half, and episode six is a total snoozer, but it's entertaining and a nice reminder that North Alabama is so so so much worse than south Alabama

Great podcast. Last 2 episodes are hard to get through.

Try Up and Vanished, The Vanished and True Crime Garage (if you can stomach the douche co-host).

episode 6 isn't as bad as people say on here but it is really gay. 6 and 7 both go a long way to explain why the guy was the way he was, gayness and insanity.

Small spoilers

I love that it goes from a murder myster to your typical white trash estate battle. I'd imagine everyone that post on this board has been or will be connected to a good old fashion white trash will battle. When my grandma died we had all sorts of cousins coming after her house. Like anyone wants that shithole in rural north LA.

Just finished it. I really enjoyed it and even though the last two chapters weren't as interesting I still enjoyed them.

And as posted earlier....uncle jimmy

I listened to this in a week on my commute. Very well produced and extremely interesting. I'm sad that it's over.
