RV to Omaha Question

A friend of mine is driving his RV to Omaha this year and wants to know the best place to be for the week. I told him I'd post on here and ask y'all since a lot of y'all go every year.
Any suggestions/recommendations greatly appreciated. TIA

Went in '09 and stayed the first night at an RV park in Council Bluffs not far from the bridge. It was awful and we got some of our shite stolen. Then we caught wind of this other place on the south side of town. It was actually around Bellevue. It was similar to some kind of state park and it was right next to the river. Ill find the name of it.

We stayed in Council Bluffs at a camp site.
Best part was on gamedays we drove the RV to the casino and parked it in the back...cut through the lobby and got on the free casino hotel shuttle to the ballpark

Anywhere there are a lot of liquor stores and check cashing places nearby.
