I ordered these from Amazon as replacement filters.

Thanks just added to my wish list for later when I need them

Has anyone come up with a good cleaning method of the filters to make them last longer?

I used my dust buster to clean it out as redundant as that seams but it worked pretty good. I wonder if you can rinse them out?

Got the neato in today. I regret not having this thing a long time ago. I swept the floor like I normally would then set the neato loose. Filled up the dust bin with dirt/dog hair. I was blown away. Day 1 and I already don't see myself ever living without one again.

My Neato (Consuela) finally came in today and she is a sucking machine. It was a surprise b-day present for the wifey and she loves it.

ETA - how do y'all currently have your schedule set for cleanings?

If the dock is in a close space, sometimes. One of mine docks under an end table in the living room and the robot might have three inches clearance on either side when it goes between the legs. Maybe once or twice a month, it gets lost six inches away from the dock and ninety degrees off. They know where the dock is from the map they build, but at the very end when they're going back to dock they go to a spot near where the dock was when they left and quit using the map they've built and start actively searching for the dock; something might have moved it slightly since the robot left and simply going back to where they started doesn't work. Once it starts searching if it can't find the dock (the lighting interferes with its search, the dock has been moved by a kid or a pet so it can't sense the dock, etc.), it'll just stop where it is. If it's a problem that happens often, try moving the dock to a different spot that's more open. The more open space around the dock, the better the robot can see it and get back to it.

I just deal with finding the thing near its dock every now and then and docking it myself because it hits the dock the majority of the time.

Front side of the house every weekday at 11 in the morning. Back side at 2 to make sure there's no interference. Nothing on the weekends. Every other day probably would work, but I like clean floors.

So you have two of them or do you just move it and put a perimeter down?

I cracked up the other day watching my Neato re-dock. I went out Saturday night and figured I'd let the Neato run while I was gone (haven't put in any cleaning schedules yet). I started it up and left the house. When I got back, I heard the distress call from the kitchen. It had knocked over a couple of TV trays leaning against the wall and it was tangled up in them. After I cleared them out of the way, I restarted it and it resumed cleaning while I went in the den to watch some TV. Pretty soon, I hear it coming back to re-dock. It pulled up to the dock, turned around backwards and slowly backed up while shaking its arse. When it made contact, it shut down and started recharging. But I was rolling when it was backing up and wiggling its arse back and forth. Mine's definitely female.

The dock and the way it docks is much better than the Roomba that I used to have. One problem with the Roomba dock is that it slides all over the place on a hardwood floor, even when I tried to wedge it in a corner. The other problem is that even when the Roomba docked correctly, for some reason it didn't think it had and it would back up and try again. Lather, rinse, repeat until the battery died.

So Wall-E dominated this half the house. He made it through 1/2 the living room going around the big couch, tried like hell to get under the recliner, couldn't make it. He gets an A for effort there. He spent a little time chasing the dog around. She was freaked the F out. He wasn't having none of that. Just kept on grinding.

He then sped around the big couch to the front of the living room and found the great wide open spaces in front the TV and couches. A little ambitious, and perhaps overjoyed with his new found freedom he tried to tackle the open area. Soon he figured out though that he was running out of juice. He bee-lined it for his dock. About 30 minutes later he woke up and said arright boys let get hopping.

Wall-E beelined it back to the spot he left off and destroyed the open area. He then moved under the coffee table and had to work his way around by prodding the legs and cross members. After that he made for the love seat and destroyed some dog hair under there. From there Wall-E chugged on across the room to the far wall and cleaned everything under the big couch.

Once he returned to the daylight from his cavernous adventure he looked a little confused. What'd he encounter under there? Idk but he made it out alive. Confused he spun scanning the room. Suddenly I realized he ain't confused. He's making sure he got everything.

Once satisfied he ran off into the hall. We heard him running up and down there for about 15 minutes. Then that now famiier sound. The vacuum shut off as he needed to sleep as he was done with everything he could reach. He came charging out the hall, like a proud soldier returning from war. He bypassed the parades and cheers and went straight home to relax with his family in his dock.

Wall-E is now slumbering away at his dock.

Wondering, what will tomorrows adventure bring

Just read this to the family, had ever body laughing.

How does the neato perform with dog poop? Our pup will leave little chocolate presents for us every once in a while. Will it go around them?
