Ask your insurance provider.

Every roof, or sheet metal job, they're going to do the best, and here's the proof, for over fifty years their name stands above the best.

I've used Garcia and V&V recently. Both are very good although Garcia was a little better priced.

I cannot recommend this guy highly enough. His crew showed on time, completed the job on time and UNDER budget. Cleaned up after themselves too. I literally found about four roofing nails they missed. Don't laugh about this unless you have had a house re-roofed. There is a special kind of hell finding (stepping on) roofing nails six months after the job. Did I mention he ended up charging less than his initial estimate? Also, he came back a month later on an unrelated matter and made a repair to a dormer. He wouldn't take money for doing the repair.

don't live in the area but, make sure they are insured
Make sure you use a 30 year dimensional AG shingle
complete tear off, new felt, new flashing, new roof boots (get lead ones)
Inspect roof sheathing... 45.00 per sheet if one needs to be replaced
Drip edge
90 lbs felt int eh valleys
Ridge vent
10 year warranty
2 day turnaround
they haul all waste. protect bushes and gutters
You want a decent sized company to do this work...
Make a wise color choice... changing color can make a huge street appeal impact.
good luck

Some companies might "absorb" the deductible, they do this by cutting corners in other places many times at the expense of quality materials or workmanship.
Let me explain how depreciation works. Let's say the roof is estimated to cost $10k and you have a $1k deductible but an additional $3k was withheld for depreciation, so the first check is for $6k. The $3k is money you get back if that is the cost of the work. If the roofing company writes an invoice for $10k the company sends the additional $3k when the work is done. If they invoice $8k, the insurance company will look at the total cost minus minus the $1k deductible and release $1k in depreciation.
Pick a quality company that isn't going to cut corners...
