I am glad I got to see him before he passed.

Per his Facebook page.

One of my greatest memories is walking down Duval St on a Tuesday afternoon. Walk up to his bar and he’s playing on the stage. It was just him and an acoustic guitar, no cover.

This was 1992

Seems strange. No independent confirmation as yet. The inference is it was not unexpected but there's been no indication that he was ill prior to this. It would be the GOAT hack to take over all his social media accounts at once but anything's possible.

Saw him at Cynthia Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands summer of 1991. Wife was pregnant with my oldest daughter at the time. Its been a life long joke that Buffet was her first concert. He put on a damn good show.

He canceled a show earlier this year due to a hospitalization. Can’t find any details other than that.

He’s been in and out of the hospital a lot lately and lots of cancelled/postponed shows the last 2yrs. Really sad, but kind of saw this coming.

Not unlike being a Deadhead, being a Parrothead is a lifestyle, but Buffett fans have more disposable cash.

I saw him at the AMP in Rogers. That concert was an experience but ironically I went to see Steely Dan the next day and there was more pot at that concert than the Buffett concert.

If true, the world is a lesser place without him.

His songs were the soundtrack to much of my formative years and goods time with my dad.
