That's living right by those people. Good for them.

I wish the 3 that were hiding in that box at the end had come out. Happy for the,

And then one by one they were put back into a cage and sent to a shelter with hopes of finding them a new owner.

That is awful and touching all at the same time. I'm glad they got them out of there!

they bark incessantly. Is that accurate?
I grew up around then them and it's a yes and no answer. If you have 1,2, or even 3, the answer is most likely no. They will go out and bark at things just like every other dog does. The reason they are known for that is because when they are in packs, the get excited about a scent and it's their way of communication with each other.
By themselves as family pets they are fine and one of the best family dogs out there.

Damn why do they have to experiment on dogs. They should use monkeys and rats exclusively. I wouldn't have given a shite if I had seen some monkeys released in the wild for the first time.
Sucks seeing with any animal. Humans suck sometimes.

I had a couple once. Their nose is their brain, and once they figure out that they can get out of an enclosure, it's all over, they're incorrigible. They are lovable, funny dogs, but they have a personality, and they can absolutely be little shitstains.

FIFY. The USDA is the regulatory agency for pets vaccines, pharmaceuticals, etc.
Thanks for FIFM, but, there was no need. The USDA, EPA, and FDA all approve veterinary products. See below for a very recent example used to control allergies in dogs.

Omg...have a 13 year old beagle going downhill. I had to stop it.

probably not gonna be too popular an opinion here, but those dogs look to be in pretty damn good shape to have been allegedly mistreated...take away all of the hoopla and sappy music and they look exactly like any other group of beagles in a strange place...
You never heard of people getting swole or fat in prison?

Dammit got something in both eyes!!! How sad for those 3 that got in the box, it was just to much. Looks like those people really knew what they were doing.
