Bought a Casio Pathfinder watch a few months ago. Recently my band broke. Average jewelry store/watch repair joints cannot repair. Having trouble figuring out where to send it. Anyone else had trouble with this?

Did you try the store of the corner of 19 and 87?

Just the band or did something on the watch itself break?

Because bands for these watches are like $20 to $30. If something on the watch itself is broken - where the band connects, in other words, then you're probably better off buying a new watch.

It's not like it's a Rolex, Omega, Cartier, etc.

Amazon sells replacemant straps. You can also get a spring bar removal tool from them.

Both should be really cheap. Springbars themselves if you need a replacement are also pretty cheap.

Not sure it's a traditional spring bar, it sure doesn't look like one.

I'm not sure what I'd do with that, probably just get a different watch that I could put on a NATO band.

Hmm. I don't know what's going on there. I just tried to look at some pictures. It doesn't really look like an integrated band. Maybe it could be removed with a small screwdriver.

Oh that's an integrated, or worse, band. You'd have the thinnest band on a huge case if you tried another band. If a band broke on me in two months there's no way I'd put another on it. I guess it doesn't matter though if you DGAF about losing the watch. I'm too hard on my watches and like them too much to put a risky band on them.

You wanna hurt me? Go right ahead if it makes you feel any better. I'm an easy target. Yeah, you're right. I talk too much. I also listen too much. I could be a cold-hearted cynic like you, but I don't like to hurt people's feelings. Well, you think what you want about me. I'm not changing. I like me. My wife likes me. My customers like me. 'Cause I'm the real article. What you see is what you get.
