Heading to the beach end of the week and wanted to see what the best bet is for a good, small profile speaker to play music on at the beach, Bluetooth enabled and decent battery life as well as pretty good sound quality.

Loud volume is not necessary, just going to be playing some music to have on in the background.

Thanks

That one Chicken was pimping last year was really cool. Think it was Drytunes.

Personally can't justify the cost

If you are willing to put in the work you can buy an ice chest, marine speakers, a bluetooth capable car head unit, battery

Sectionalize the ice chest to separate the electronics from ice and drinks, seal it well and fiberglass

And there you go, beer and music all in one package!

I bought this one for $35 on Amazon

Waterproof, blue tooth with 30 foot range. Supposed to have 12 hour life when fully charged. Pretty loud for a small speaker. Only used it in shower so far but I really like it. Plan on using it for camping trips, beach, etc in the future.

The smaller speakers are nearly inaudible with the surf and everything else going on around you.

I have a Bosch Jobox with a bluetooth receiver.

I think that 1000 watts and price may be a little much for the beach

Wife just got me an Altec Lansing, been using it around the pool. Has clean, crisp sound and gets pretty loud if you want it to.

JBL Charge +2. Great, crisp sound and you can charge your phone from it, if necessary.
