It's not the oysters man, if you haven't puked or had explosive diarrhea by now you're fine. Take some pepto and start your weekend.

Yeah, the cramps are easing. I’m gonna try to venture out now and make something of the day at least. I don’t feel great but I don’t think the worst is coming. At least i hope not. I may be caught unawares

If it don't stop, it could diverticulitis.

I had to wear a poop bag for over a year for that.

I once downed 8 dozen at Papa Joe's in Cape San Blas - huge oysters too - biggest I've ever seen - never got sick - that's all I got.

Rookie numbers. I put back 12 dozen in Biloxi last year. The only reason I stopped was because I was starting to draw a crowd.

Well, either it wasn’t he oysters or I’m still in for one hell of a blowout. Still cramping but still haven’t come out either end.

I’m kind of worried. If it was gonna get bad it should have happened by now, right? Oysters don’t block you up do they?

Are you sure the oysters aren't just a coincidence? Any other symptoms?

Most likely. Food poisoning generally takes 6 hours to hit you. And vibrio 24-48 hours.

Stomach cramps without pooping is bad juju.

I ended up having diverticulitis when that happened.

Although I normally poop several times a day.

Considering I was prepared to be trying to lift off from the toilet…maybe? Should I be so lucky?

The cramps are still there and I don’t feel great but no sweating, no chills. Just a waxing and waning ache in my guts. And no movement either way.

It would be some coincidence though. Enough to not Break the hard R ule again.

At the Quarter? Run to the nearest Voodoo shop and tell them what you've done. After they finish laughing, get ready to worship at the porcelain thrown. Knell or sit ......

It's on it's way ......

If this were my dad he would drink a bottle of magnesium citrate and commence to cleaning out his shite. You sound constipated.

Not that anyone cares but my cramps went away after my second shite today. Feeling great now.

I would eat about 15 lbs of refried beans then do a footlong line of coke to help speed up the process. Believe in the science baw.

Here's the thing about the R-month rule:

By the time May rolls around, it's still crawfish season, and shrimp are starting to come in. Once we get into the heat of summer, crabs will be running. We'll basically have crabs until it starts cooling off again in late September, early October. By then it's time for oysters again.

In short: Only eat oysters when nothing else is in season (crawfish, shrimp, crabs) and you'll be alright.
