It is easy to get blacks to go bananas about this stuff. Most white people think, "Well, what did he do?" first. A lot of blacks have been conditioned their entire lives to be perpetual victims, so they automatically think, "I bet it was a white cop and the perp was innocent". Even when it is a black cop, they get mad at white cops.
Moral of the story is that your stats are racist
Take a look at armed perp vs unarmed perp shootings also. 99.9% of them are armed when they get shot

There's been plenty of stories of whites getting killed by police, often indiscriminately- no knock raid, homeowner comes out armed thinking he's getting robbed, bang bang innocent homeowner (or worse his family) dead. You know the dog always dies in this situation
. The only problem is coverage. Most often it gets local, maybe regional press and it goes away in a week or two.

I know that question has an obvious answer, it was asked to start a discussion more than anything. It has more to do with the actual numbers. To be honest, I didn't expect the numbers to be what they are.
People will argue that blacks only make up 13% of the US population, yet 25% are killed by police, but you can argue that police are not necessarily targeting a certain race.

Someone commented under this post on a news site that said "yeah but the whites that were killed were all armed crazy whites while the African Americans were unarmed, that's the problem" are there any numbers of armed versus unarmed individuals along with race killed by cops?

Journalists are incredibly honest and reliable. They always do all the research they can before writing a story. They never post a story without fully investigating it. They always tell the truth and they always give both sides of the story. And they never take sides or show any amount of bias. Journalists are the highest quality of occupation, and one of the most trusted, next to lawyers, TSA agents, and unmarried female high school teachers
