Maybe they did an online correspondence thing for several months before they really started dating and only needed 4 months to confirm they are the same people IRL.

Or maybe the women in her family go through menopause very early.

How long did they know each other before they started dating? Big difference between only knowing her for four months and upgrading a bestie to girlfriend.

I dated my current wife for 6 years, and also lived together for 2 years in college before we got engaged.

quick or slow, it seems to make no difference. It is apparently a matter of luck if you really like the person you marry, after the fireworks fade. Just find someone kind that you like to talk to.
