I have manned up, I have a great life and great relationship.
I didnt think I would get killed for being honest or randomly reflecting on a path life may have gone on had a few things been different.

I use to record myself singing and I'd send those to my GFs when they broke up with me. A few actually gave me a second chance but the majority didn't return my phone calls

Its not worth losing my friend over. Some would say she was worth losing me over, but it didnt work out that way

the Jewish girl (she also went abroad to France that same year) used to write me letters and send me posts cards that I still have, somewhere at my Aunts house in Alabama.
I wrote her a 5 page note/plane letter (she was going on a trip to spain during spring break) our freshmen year in college that she told me her mother found at her house (In Upstate New York) about 2 or 3 years ago. I was surprised to know that she still had it.
Yeah I have done some pretty sad and embarrassing things with some girls, but it seems like many dont "forget" me after we move on.

Based on what you shared I think there are two scenarios:
1- She is rubbing your nose in it. You had a chance and missed it or she wants you to want her for her own self affirmation issues.
2- She really wants you to make a move
