That was actually North Point subdivision. And it came to pass as well. Very nice/expensive homes back there.

When attending NLU, went deer hunting and we had a stand in a tree "literally" at the end of the main drag. That drag was about 1/8 mile long...was the absolute boondock country bumpkin place I'd ever seen in my life.
That was in the late 60's, so things change don't they. Loved Monroe in that day. W. Monroe was redneck central. Bultaco motorcycles at Jordan Saw & Marine right across the Quachita River bridge from Monroe!
