Mine never bled because I was put under and they were surgically removed.

Now, how in the hell they were able to cut into my gums, grab the teeth down there, and pull them out is beyond me and now something I'd want to watch...but I digress.

Don't smoke, suck out of straws, or give or receive blowjobs until they're healed.

I'm pretty sure they just drill into the tooth, break it into piece and then extract the pieces

I was pretty good after about a week but it took about a year for the holes to fill in. It seemed like I could get a whole cheeseburger lodged in the hole where my tooth use to be, that bothered me more than anything but it seems not everyone has that same experience.

The pain didn't last very long for me.

I got mine out in high school, they were still impacted.

Took them out on a Mon but was able to eat Thanksgiving Thurs. It sucks.

My cheeks were bruised for weeks after. I'm starting to wonder if they punched me in the face during surgery.

I bled for a few days, but my swelling was the big issue. I didn't have dry socket, but my face exploded to Farley status for a solid week and a half

You are probably doing too much
Keep ice on your face & eat mashed potatoes

This was the worst. All of mine were impacted and had to be cut out. Maybe 5 days before I could anything substantial. It wasn't the pain. It was the fact that I couldn't open my mouth very far. Bleeding stopped after 2-3rd day.

CSB time:

I was put under when I had my wisdom teeth removed. During the procedure I woke for a minute and could feel (pressure, not pain) the doctor cracking one of my teeth with pliers or whatever tool they use. Then pulling out pieces if the tooth. I then fell asleep again.

Go buy a small box of black tea bags. Dunk a couple in some water to get them wet, then set them on top of your sockets. The tannins will reduce and/or stop the bleeding. You'll need to press them down a bit for full contact, but don't jam them down on the socket or it will suck.

Worked great for me.

I was eating solid food the next day. Sitting around drinking soda and playing COD nazi zombies jacked up on pain pills for two weeks. It was awesome.

You must have opted out of the mid surgery dose of anesthetic.

Mine came in normal without difficulty, however when I was a student in the USAF at the DLI they said they needed to come out regardless so they wouldn't cause potential problems in the future while on assignment.

Mine never bled so much as squired dry sockets after extraction. The oral surgeon gave me something that tastes like clovers and the pain went away.

I second this.

I never had issues with bleeding or dry socket but I was in my early 30s when I had to have mine out and it hurt like a motherfricker because they had to go into the bone to extract them. It took a bit for the tendons in my jaw to loosen back up.
