She'll probably say it LITERALLY EXPLODES with toxic masculinity and serves as nothing more than a stark reminder that slavery still exists in our society!

Well to her defense, it is a very masculine vehicle.

One thing I've done in the past is a "test" auction with a high reserve that I know won't be meet, this gives you an idea of market price going forward and allows you to set a buy it now price for the next time, also if the reserve is not meet you can relist for free.

This is absolutely brilliant.

You can also check the completed and sold listings boxes and see what your vehicle went for in the past.

I tried selling my wife's POS on there a few years ago before we were married to try to get some money back for her dad and it was a pain in the arse. First buyer never responded and the second was a trucker that gave me the run around for a month until randomly contacting me on Sunday of Bacchus saying he was in town. I told him to piss off and just donated the car.

I would just say it's up to you to pay for shipping, but pickup is free that way they don't have that cost built-in from the start and if they have a cheaper alternative for shipping they can do that.

I listed on eBay for like $35. But closed/ended the auction when I had a price agreed upon via email with the buyer. Just used it as another place to market the vehicle.

Buyer was local enough (Jackson, MS) that we were able to meet at a branch of his bank to sign the paperwork, etc.

Question about selling a vehicle on eBay

I sold a Tacoma on there. eBay motors wont charge you a percentage but rather a flat rate. Make sure to have a deposit to cover any expenses you incur that is due as soon as payment. Mine was $250 and covered the posting fee, and car cleaning/detail. Guy backed out after purchasing but he was forced to pay the deposit. Do local pickup only and dont drive the thing after it is sold.

I made a youtube video of the car that showed every scratch, dent, and that all the electronics (lights, blinkers, audio) worked. The more effort you put into it for eBay the quicker it will move.

i haven't sold any vehicles on ebay but I have bought two in the past year on ebay. both sports cars and I still have both. I went pick both of them up. I would suggest leaving that part up to the buyer. include a lot of pics and be brutally honest about any issues the vehicle may have. both of them sent me a video of the vehicle starting and driving down the road. these were two very pleasant experiences. good luck
