Do you have to get the liscense in the parish your wedding is? Or can you get it in EBR even if the wedding is in another parish?

Pretty sure it is the parish you will be married in and it is only good for three days or a week. Or you have to get it at least three days before ceremony. See if the rules are on clerk of court website for EBR.

Got married in Florida (pastor from Louisiana). You have to go to the parish/county you get married in for the license.

In Louisiana you can get a marriage license in any parish and get married in another. The license will go back to the where you obtained your license.

I don't know the answer to your question. But I do know you do not know how to spell license. I find that amusing for some reason. And I thank you for that.

Just got married last month in iberville parish and we got out marriage license through ebr. Just go to clerk of courts office before the wedding. Doesn't matter which parish
