I think you get a free one with a purchase of a carton of Marlboros.

Bastard was on ebay. All pot metal and gold painted. each "arm" of the spinner is shaped like a fricking trident.

Spin in the sun then video it with your phone for the win.

Truth: they are a waste of money/time but my spoiled child has 4-5 of them.

It's just a fad. They are not "used" for anything. It reminds me of silly things from the 90's like slap bracelets, pogs, hypercolor T-shirts, and knowing how to play Egyptian Ratscrew card game at recess.

My little kid pretends it's a spaceship, a circular saw, 4-armed monster, etc. I think they are fun.

If you quit doing speed, you'll quit smoking.

Most of them are sold near schools and playgrounds. Aren't you not allowed within 500 yards of either of those?

They just spin, then at night they spread ideas to your children about how statues are ruining the country.

somebody is making $ millions $ selling a 35 cent ball bearing stuck in a 10 cent piece of plastic ?

You can get them shipped here from China for about $1. I see them advertised for $8-$9 each. Nice margin.
