I am only asking this to get some clarification. This will NOT be typical job thread.

What does it take to get a Louisiana Engineer Intern Certificate. Does this come from LAPELS? Does it require that you make a passing score on the FE or do you need to go all the way and get a PE.

ETA: For those of you mentioning LAPELS related info, I appreciate. For others just trying to troll me, its getting old and I dont care.

Dude, all of this information is on the lapels website. But since you're this fricking lazy, I'll tell you what I've told you a hundred times, take the fricking FE.

I used to work for the city in Traffic Engineering and our interns had to have passed the FE. Not sure if it's the same for state employees.

I've been on the licensing committee for 13 years and I can tell you the first thing we do is determine if their course of study meets our standards. For example, graduates of HBCU's or similar "lesser" universities do not meet the standards set

Okay, Ill check the LAPELS site. Actually I found the term on a Louisiana Land Surveying board site. It didnt directly say FE and PE, but i assumed anything dealing with LAPELS requires FE at a minimum thanks.

Thread done.

FE bruh. PE is for the grownup engineers, trust me, my cousin was close to almost going into engineering once.

This is the correct answer, but you can't just suck the first dick they offer you, you have to suck the right dick(s).

I saw the headline and figured it was going to be some sort of GATTACCA / Frankenstein deal to get them less dumb and more hot.

Does Southern have a career center? They may be able to help you. I'm not being snarky, I'm being sincere. You've been looking for jobs for a long time now, and you might need more guidance than you'll get here.
