The propoganda machine of 'science' marches on.

Headline on USA Today site: STUDY SHOWS EVIDENCE OF PARALLEL UNIVERSES

Actual content when clicked on the article: Study MAY have found evidence of alternate, parallel universes.

Quite a difference from the headline claim to the actual nothing to see here content of the article.

You should pray to Jesus about this pseudo scientific claim. He'll listen.

You mean the media blows actual science out of proportion with outlandish headlines?

You've glimpsed what lies beyond the veil, but still you disregard it because it does not come packaged in terms that are palatable to you?

You claim to have seen the twisted things that lurk beyond our perception, yet disregard evidence that may support it.

We are beings in a realm at the edge of endless voids. The paths are myriad, the doorways innumerable.

I do. Just can't see them with 'natural eyes'. :)

There exist sounds outside our range of hearing.
Sights outside our range of vision.
Smells below or above the threshold of what most experience.

Why should "reality" be any different.

That faint shimmer out of the corner of your eye, that when you turn...nothing is there.

That sense that something watches even when you are all alone.

I tell you this...we Are not alone.

I don't think you understand the definition of evidence. There being evidence for something doesn't mean that it is true.... rather just that there is evidence of it being true.

scientist Ranga-Ram Chary found what he called a mysterious glow,
Chary said the glow could be due to matter from a neighboring universe "leaking" into ours.

Mysterious glow = evidence of parallel universes

it could be quite complicated to verify, since the Planck telescope provides limited data for further study.

The two biggest let downs of adult life are finding out science and religion are both full of shite. Gotta know where to put your faith these days, and those two ain't it.

If there is evidence for something, that means that something exists.

Thanks...I guess. Feeling ponderous tonight.

In the doldrums again. Sails have gone slack. No wind. No waves. Simply the endless lapping of the water against the hull. Sometimes it's a lullaby. Tonight it's a mocking tone.

We sail, all of us, in this cosmic sea. Sometimes we find safe ports. Stay a while. Find comfort. Make repairs. Resupply.

Then we burn them down when we leave so the temptation to row back to them isn't an option.

Because the only way is ever onward, into the horizon. The past is left as dead as those we send below. The future is the next morn's horizon.

Oh, I'll sail on. Or sink. Not many other options.
But there's a world below. A world above. A world to every compass point.

And really, isn't that the beauty of it? That there are still unknowns?

If we were assured of every action, would we even move? Because anywhere we sail, there will be pain. There will be pleasure. Joy. Despair.

By the gods, what a privilege it is to be able to be able to sail! It is that great unknown which beckons to us in all it's terrible glory. Threatening to swallow us up and spit us out on a foreign shore.
