Holee shite!! I just googled it and it's about as messed up as you would think.
There has never been confirmation of who the father was. Casey doesn't know for sure.

I think you are wrong. While how I FEEL about Nancy Grace doesn't mean dick, I feel how US pop culture feels/felt about her had a lot to do with it. Or at least something. She brayed like an arse so long on her show about Anthony and this case that people got exhausted. I don't know if or at what point this jury was sequestered. But Nancy Grace ABSOLUTELY made a segment of the population grow weary of hearing how awful she was. How many times did they show the pics of her partying? A young hot single mom parties? No WAY!!! Everyone has a girl like that or several on their Facebook feed.
I'm not trying to defend a child murderer. Who can? Just saying that IMHO Nancy Grace and her ilk made Anthony almost "sympathetic"? ALMOST...

Maybe you can feel that way, I can't. Your and US pop culture opinion on ngrace has nothing to do with that child getting killed and the killer not getting justice deserved.
IMO, you made a stupid and immature (in line with US pop culture) statement, the end.
I could give many examples, as in Jim announcing LSU games not changing my opinion, etc, etc. That is not even close to the severity of murdering of a child,,,,but, not gonna waste my time.. Kinda 6th graderish, imo.

I think it had quite a bit to do with justice. With a child being killed? No. Nancy Grace made the job harder for the prosecution. Nancy Grace is polarizing and downright unlikable for many people. At best, she made people weary of hearing about it. At worst she made Casey Anthony sympathetic. If even a little bit.
