Pressure washing the driveway?

Had a guy come by the house today offering to pressure wash my driveway for pretty cheap and was wondering if any of you have ever done it. I'll probably end up calling him to do it for the simple fact that I would rather fish on the weekend then pressure wash my driveway but what says the OT?

How are we supposed to know what you can afford versus what you're willing to do yourself?

It's nice, but it will look the same next year.

One thing that amazes me about this place is how many people can't make such simple decisions on their own.

I did mine in an afternoon. Just do it yourself

It's worth it to have a small pressure washer around the house imo. Just get one and do it yourself.

This.
Go to Home Depot and rent a power washer.
Knock it out in an afternoon and reward yourself with some cold beers.

If you have an exposed aggregate driveway, the answer is probably in the negative.
See if there is a person with some testosterone in your circle of acquaintances, ask him what you should do.

I wouldn't pressure wash my driveway. Need to be careful, it can take the sand off of top layer of concrete

What was his price and how long is your driveway?

So... you're going to call him to come do it after you've fished and then done it yourself?

Yea, it is utterly amazing.

In my previous house, I didnt care for the glare created by a fresh cleaned concrete driveway, so I'd prefer to have it somewhat dirty.
Next house, exposed aggregate to solve that one.
Your mileage may vary.

I wash on a driveway and drive on a washway

Black driveways matter.

if you get the rotating brush attachment thingy for your pressure washer, it will do an average-sized driveway and sidewalks in like an hour. you can spend the money you'll save on vagisil.

Have him pressure wash your house instead. The driveway will look new after it's done but it will get dirty again pretty quick. Think about all the shite that rolls over your driveway. It's almost a waste of time.

feeling like Super Woman by OT standards. I've replaced hardie board, my disposal, and pressure washed stuff without OT advice.
