I definitely think they did not expect houma to blow up the way it did. The state isn't about to spend the money to fix it. I wish it was set up like Vets.

I wish it were possible to replace every red light with a roundabout.

I graduated HS in '95. I worked at Partek on Hollywood from 93-96. We would look out the shop doors and the only thing we could see was Wal-Mart. Now you can't even see across the street.

I will be avoiding that shite like the plague.

Although I may go fast around it in my jeep to get on 2 wheels when it's late at night!

I remember when they started putting them in Western CO. It was common to see women between the ages of say 18 and 30 driving around them the wrong direction.

I used to sit in Mrs. Trahan's trig class at VCHS and watch them building MLK blvd. Who'd have thunk it would blossom into the cluster frick it is now?
Vets is far better than MLK, but that aint saying much. Too many red lights and too many drivers with 0 sense of urgency when the light turns green. No one in Houma or Laffy has any sense of urgency when they get behind the wheel.

My paw-paw said digging that God damned canal in the middle of the town killed it. Of course he lived a clock from it.

It really is but it is also dangerous. Just not in the usual MLK type of dangers. You have a good chance of being killed by someone attempting to merge onto or turn off of.
