If I was stupid enough to pay the idiot tax, I would accept it under an anonymous trust. I'd give my parents 10 million, my sister 10 million, and put 10 million in a trust for my niece.
I'd buy a nice condo, some nice home office furniture, and keep doing my job. My vacations would be nice, but I'd do some very safe investments and probably use it to open up my own accounting firm one day.

Depends if I win it outright or have to split it with 18 other people in my office.
First, buy house for myself.
Second, fund my kids college.
Third, buy a ton of rental property and set up a management company. Hire my sister to run the company and pay her about $150k a year. This way I can funnel money to her and not use any of my gift tax exemption.

Job one is to shop the ticket around to venture capitalists. I'd be willing to split 25% of the cash value in exchange for preserving my complete anonymity. After that, generous gifts to immediate family to keep everybody happy. About 25% of it to charity. I'd buy an LSU football suite, and tickets to all the LSU sports. I'd travel a lot, and other than that, my lifestyle wouldn't change much.
But I'm not buying a ticket. The only place that sells them is out on the highway, and I'm too lazy to drive all the way over there
