So...when you wake up with the ticket worth $200 million in the morning, what are you gonna do?

Me?

1) Buy a shitload of land in either St. Helena or Livingston Parish. Build an apocalypse-proof house (basement, escape tunnels, water/air treatment, generators, etc.) Bury a couple of underground gasoline storage tanks (w/ mechanical pump). 4WDs/trucks on standby.

2) Build house in the Appalachians.

3) Top out all my and my kids' savings accounts.

4) Buy $10m of stock in the following companies: Exxon/Mobil, Apple, AT&T, WalMart, Amazon.

5) Donate to my alma mater(s) (college and high school) and get my name on a bunch of buildings.

6) Go back to college and get a shitload of degrees.

7) Travel like a mofo.

Sounds like one hell of a meth lab.

1. Try to find some way where Scruffy can lock it away without people knowing about it so people won't ask him for money.

2. If one fails, buy billboards that say "frick off! Stop asking Scruffy for money!"

3. Finish school and start residency.

4. Finish residency.

5. Get a job.

6. Enjoy life.

Meh. Life would get boring eventually. Scruffy would do his best to keep things the same...just be really wealthy instead of in debt.

Scruffy would plan on living the same life he does now. No reason to change that.

With a quarter of a BILLION DOLLARS you would "top out your savings accounts" and buy "$10m of stock"? Damn, son. What's funny is that whoever wins will probably share your modest return goals.

that'd probably be the last thing I'd do. I already have 1 and that's way more than enough.

It really is hilarious.

First of all, you'd have an entire team of investors, accountants, etc that would be making MANY investments for you in order to diversify and expand your money (conservatively).

You'd have basically a company to run...your wealth.

I like Scruffy's billboard idea. Please be sure to wear an ascot and a Thurston Howell III looking Captain's hat, while fanning a handful of $1,000,000 bills (with Scruffy's pic on them). That'll let the commoners know you mean business.

Scruffy is 26 years old. That is a lot if time to fill between now and death (hopefully).

He likes things simple.

And monocle. That is the most important part. You aren't wealthy unless you own a monocle.

The earth is a big place.

And like I said, you would basically be running a company. You'd have a lot to do.
