Are you implying that you're a plant?

its funny how at this point your expected value actually goes positive and it is advisable to buy a ticket now - at least mathematically it is. That argument is hampered with the potential for multiple winners though.
- I guess maybe not when taxes and lump sum fees are considered. frick it i'm still putting down $10

Please be smart... if you win... take the 29 payments. You'll be rich forever.

I'll pay for a Texas A&M Tigerdroppings User Party and burn the building down with everyone inside.

There are decent Bama fans on here and they just replicate when you try to burn them. You have to cut their head off to kill them.
Not 1 redeeming Aggie though.

buying TD would be LAST on my list. Better things to go do than play online. Once I quit work, no time for TD.

I'd still watch recruiting shite. But that's it.
I'd be too busy flying around the world, eating incredible meals, and playing golf to give a frick about the OT Lunch thread

I don't have to wait until tomorrow when all the poor people get paid to buy a ticket, do I? Rather just buy a ticket on the way home today and not deal with the ridiculous lines tomorrow or Saturday.

Nope you don't.
I'm going to buy 10 tonight. I'd just spend that money on scotch if I didn't drop it on the lottery so whatever.

Does the winner have to release their name to the public or can they tell the lottery commission to not release your name or any information?

If you win more than $600 and are therefore required to claim your prize at a Lottery office, you will be required to complete a claim form for tax purposes.
Under the Lottery's statue, all prize payment records are open records, meaning that the public has a right to request the information.
Depending upon the amount won and public or media interest in the win, winners may NOT be able to remain anonymous.
The statute also allows the Lottery to use winners' names and city of residence for publicity purposes such as news releases.
The Lottery's regular practice is not to use winner information in paid advertising or product promotion without the winner's willingness to participate.

It'd be hell having to put up with people coming out of the woodworks looking for cash.

Sweet. We were driving home after dinner last night and every gas station we passed was packed. Rather not deal with that on Saturday.

Yeah, we bought 10 as well. First time we've played. Hit the Powerball on three of them.

I read that in some states you can also claim it through an LLC or trust or something similar.

I read that only 6 states allow anonymity, South Carolina being one of them. Several allow a trust or llc to collect the winnings. But many states, you're screwed, and they'll print your name.
Just make sure you have an international trip planned once you collect, and be ready to hide. Damn near everyone you've ever known will start coming out of the woodwork.
