I didn't buy a ticket, because I'm not going to win.
If I was gifted a ticket and won, I'd try like hell to accept it anonymously. I'd continue working, because I like what I do, but I would take badass vacations. I would give a million to all of my immediate family members, and every single kid my sister pushes out.

No! If you take the cash payout you only get like half. Then taxes take the other half and boom you only clear like 75 mil. Not worth it.

Lottery is tax on people that don't know how to do math. I still bought a ticket though. In this case person that won will walk away with about 100 million after taxes. No way anyone would still work at their current job after winning that. At least not for very long.

Everybody that thinks it's a tax on stupid people should stop trying to sound like they are informing people. Get off your fricking high horses. I'm guessing stupid people make a lot of dumb financial decisions which contributes to them staying poor. But damn the old saying of lottery being a tax on poor people is fricking annoying

$334 mill/2 is $167 million. Take half for taxes, and that's $83.5 million.
That's still some walkin' around money.

Cash payout is estimated at $205M and that is usually low when jackpots are this large. A lone winner is taking home more than $100M.
