Post-Altered State Euphoria

I guess this question can be posed to many different people and many different scenarios. Those who have had near death experiences. Those in the medical field. Those with mental disorders. Or even recreational drug users who mixed a combination that took them to an altered state. Personally, mine involves a day of drinking. Mixed in with a little drug use. And finally the introduction of Ambien for the first time. The experience was like nothing before. It was as if I had passed on to the next life and was convinced I was gone. But since my return, I have experienced unusually low levels of stress and anxiety. Also, my temper seems to be much improved. Anyone else ever experience such after a somewhat traumatic or life altering event?

I have not done anything like that, but I have heard and read about that kind of effect from people using hallucinogens (i.e. LSD, etc.)...in fact, a lot of artists and writers used this type of thing in the past to get their creative side kicked in...

Tell me about the drugs
An absurd combination. The final 2 being utilized to try to sleep. Also, I was probably operating in a sleep deprived state as well. But here goes.....white devil, weed, Xanax, then Ambien. Could have been a hydro in there too at the end. Not sure. Kind of fuzzy.

I agree. I was just wondering if the last 4 days of basically no stress and anxiety is a normal bi-product. And I was hoping a permanent side affect. Probably wishful thinking. But I've never experienced any level of peace and calm like I have the last 4 days after the incident.

Kinda felt the same way after using dmt back in the day. Don't worry life, job, and kids will eventually get you back on track.

Piercing the veil always has consequences. Some foul, some fair. Great revelations might shake you to your core or give you new vision. Whether you take what is learned and use it to improve yourself is up to you.

In healthcare I have been around a handful of people right after being brought back.
None had any revelations. All just had a look of shock. Think when Bruce Willis woke up during 12 Monkeys and people were singing and in costume. None of us are ever singing. But for the patient it is like walking into a party where everyone is strangers but are excited as frick to see you. Staff is euphoric patient shocked and scared which becomes worse when they realize what happened. Always bummed me out. Like Morgan Earp in Tombstone they didn't "see a damned thing."
