A few years back people were trying to bring back the flipped up collar like in the 80's. You wear your clothes as they feel comfortable to you. The only place where fashion is a life or death choice is High School, once you are done then F it.

I notice people who wear golf polo's doing this a lot. Those shirts can look goofy with the top button open. A regular polo looks funny buttoned all the way up though.

The top button polo thing is popular with the late teen early 20s crowd now. I've seen a few fashionable types (re: douche bags) with pretty hot girlfriends walking around.

It seems to be. I started seeing it up here a year or two ago, and now most teens and pre-teens seem to sport this look.

Buttoning up the top button with cargo shorts is in nowadays baw. Get wif da program! Make sure you are wearing some flip flops as well as some sunglasses with white frames to compliment your outfit.
