I use it at least once a day it feels like. Opening boxes, cutting cord, random odds and ends.
I don't do any of these things often. Definitely not daily. And never in a location where I need a knife in my pocket.

Kershaw Ken Onion with a 2-1/2" blade. Not too bulky, and cuts everything i need to cut in a normal day.

Over the years I've managed to collect more pocketknives than I will ever be able to wear out. CaseXX, Gerber, Buck, Shrade, et al. The one I carry now is a Spyderco Native 5.

I'm seeing lots of Kershaw, Gerber, and Benchmade.

Should change the title to which Oregon made knife do you carry.

I have many, but I almost always carry my Swiss Army knife. It has so many uses that I can't switch to anything else, even though the blade is not usually very sharp.

It's got these features:
2" blade
1" blade
Saw tooth blade
Scissors
Can opener
Bottle opener
Cork screw
Aul with eyelet
Scew driver
Phillips screw driver
Tweezers
Toothpick

If you can't find a use for that tool, I can't help you. It fits nicely in my pocket with a smooth finish, much less bulcky than a leatherman type tool.

The only problem is ridiculous security checkpoints. I can usually just palm it with my keys when they waive the wand over me, but that doesn't work at the airport, etc.

People that carry pocket knives: what do you use it for and how often do you use it? I've never carried one and never came across an occasion where I needed one.

Screwdriver, tool punch, UPS box opener, fork (at a bbq), knife (at a bbq), breasting ducks/geese, skinning animals, cutting open vacuum sealed packs of sausage, opening plastic cases that other knives or various things are displayed in, etc. Pretty much used daily or every other day. I actually left my main knife (Gerber Air Ranger) in my buddy's truck last weekend and Ive felt naked all week and needed it almost every single day.
