Swiss Army Classic, in blue. I keep the blade is sharp as hell, it goes on my keychain, and the tweezers have pulled countless ticks off my dog. I've gotten more use out of it than any other pocket knife I've ever owned.
Victorinox also makes great kitchen knives. I got a set recently, and they're amazing.

I worked at a knife shop for 7 years. My uncle has two knife shops in louisiana that carry them. You cant beat benchmade. We sold the hell out of them. I have the benchmade griptilian half n half with the black coating. The mini griptilian sounds perfect for you. Hope this helps.
