If he takes four hours for a root canal he probably didn't need to be doing your root canal, great guy aside.

Not being defensive at all. General dentists perform over ninety percent of root canals in the usa every year. If people heeded your advice, there would be a lot more untreated dental pain and suffering since endodontists could not meet current demand.

Or a lot more extractions. Pick your poison.

2K sounds scary high.

I go to LSU Dental School when I need work done.

Last Root Canal I had done was about 1/3 of that price, maybe less

They're lovely. They give me a zanax, gas, neck pillow, sunglasses and I bring earphones and listen to a thunderstorm very loud. Sleep through most of it, go home to bed and sleep like a baby. No problems after that.

Why not just get dental insurance?

That way you aren't having students do your dental work.

Arent you the same weird poster that posted here before? Forget your other name but she too had that guy's deceased child as her avy(that you aren't even related to and not even IRL friends with). Just kinda weird if you ask me.

Same weird chick who posted pics on here of herself at Disney.

I don't mind students doing dental work. It's a lot cheaper than paying for insurance. You can't get a crown for a year after getting dental insurance. Crowns cost $365 at LSU Dental School. I have a 3rd year student.

No... I don't have another name and I've never posted pics of me at Disney.

I have Alex's picture and have spoken with his parents via email. His parents asked people to put his picture up.

Thanks for asking.

Not the case with mine. I got a crown a few months after my dental insurance through work kicked in. I think I paid $200 out of pocket for my crown.

Just depends on what insurance you have. Not sure what work pays of it..,,but it only costs me $16 a month for the dental insurance.

Some people don't get dental insurance through work.

Every policy I have ever seen or been on has a waiting period for things other than 2 annual cleanings and cavities, i.e., the more expensive procedures.

If yours doesn't have that, you got lucky.

Apply for care credit. Med/dentist/vet card with no interest options.

I hate the dentist. I have had one root canal. I brought my sunglasses and headphones. They have me a warm blanket out of the dryer. I wore my pjs. I sleep through it gas and pillz!!!!!!
Was awesome. Woke up and done.
