Smart move on Playboy's part. But if they really wanted to boost sales they get back to preodically having some big name star pose for them. Imagine the sales if they convinced someone like Brittany Spears to pose nude.

'92-'93 I was working as an electrician, remodeling base housing on an Air Force base. The HVAC guys and us happened to hit a duplex at the same time. We start hearing the HVAC guy up in the attic hooting and hollering, thought he had a rat in his coveralls or something. He comes down out of the attic with the first (Marilyn Monroe) issue, and the next 9 issues. Crazy to see those in person.

what? Playboys decline is due to the fact that people aren't buying magazines like they used to. The people that watched The Girls Next Door were all housewives and teenage females. The few people that still pay for playboy don't care if the magazine is no longer "sophisticated."
