Took my girlfriend's Toyota Avalon to Pepboys because it is a company car. I don't have the cup to change it anyways. I checked the oil when we picked it up, seemed very dark to have just been changed. Took the skidplate off when i got home. I do not believe they changed the oil filter. The blue mark that the previous place put on it was not broken. I have no obvious proof, and i know they won't admit it. What should be done?

At least your girlfriend didn't take it. Those dirty mechanics would have run the train on her.

Talk to the manager, if they don't correct it, spam them on social media and every Saturday park your car in front of their building with a sign telling people what happened.

A female friend of mine went there for two years. One day her engine went totally out. Come to find out, her oil was never changed. She had no recourse because she never kept her receipts. She spent over 2500 for repairs to her engine. I also heard bad reports about Speedy Oil Change in Baton Rouge. I bought a new Toyota several months ago. I brought mine to the dealership for its first oil change. My next change is due in November. I trust the dealership and not those fly by night oil change places.

Why are you paying for a Co car oil change? That's beyond dumb. Have them do it.

Buy a new oil filter and go up there and threaten to shove it up their arse if they don't put it on and put in fresh oil. Learn a few Espanol expletives and have a crazed look about yourself when you do it.

Call them up and tell them exactly what you told us. There was a mark on the old oil filter and the same filter is on there now. Take a picture of the old filter and if the manager of pep boys gives you attitude threaten legal action. Guarantee they make things right

It's easier to just let the dealership do it. Get a rental for the day if they are over scheduled. Plus, if you negotiate right at signing the first years services are on the dealership.

It's a company car. I wouldn't ever get the oil changed unless I was on the clock and they paid for it.

I get my oil changed at the drive through place by my house. I always draw on the filter before I go, and they always change it

Walk into the Pepboys and bow up. They'll get the message.

My wife brings her vehicle to the dealership for maintenance. They are only a few dollars more than the oil change places.

I typically put a mark on my filters to check for just such shite...I have not had them skip changing my filter, but I feel better knowing that is the case. I always stand there and watch them do the work, so they are probably a little more careful...
