The get rich quick scheme via tort is one of the things I hate about America.
There are definitely legit cases, but I get so tired of lawyers pretending there's nothing wrong with the system.

Bad publicity? They just earned my business.
I'm sure there are more like me.
I'm also sure there are many who will not darken their doors because of this.
But maybe they'll think twice before suing someone so swiftly when something goes wrong in the future.
What was their policy? If they declared a gin free zone and then refused to hire armed security, they made the patrons sitting ducks.

What does it accomplish?
It's not a crime deterrent.
Are we setting a precedent so in the future when people can be resurrected by science, we can force them to serve out multiple life sentences?
