American pussification, admittedly was something I turned a blind eye to over the last 10-15 years, even though I was aware of it, has now reached a critical mass. Hopefully it's not irreversible. It's got to where the QB of the 49ers is a massive douche so I can't even escape it while being a 12 pack deep on Sunday's.

I wonder if people would have been equally sensitive 50 years ago if they had the access to info that people do today, at the highly impressionable ages of 18-25. Young people are practically bombarded with info 24/7.

It is.... The cycle keeps going. Young folks today would have NO clue how to get by Luke we did in the 70's... I have no problem with progress. It's laziness and the just not giving a frick that pisses me off about today's younger generation.

I don't know if they are lazy, but I think the problem is that many parents protect their kids from reality, at all cost and then when they get out in the real world its more difficult for them to handle.
It seems like when I was a kid you had to develop thick skin. Now, parents seem to be a lot more involved in their kid's life and they are always telling them how great they are at everything so when they are in a situation where someone says something they don't like, it's a big deal.

I guess I'm just out of touch with today's society. If I see something that bothers me or "offends" me, whatever the frick that means, I just go along and think nothing of it

Well Chris I am 56 and seen a lot more on here than a lot of folks have. Today's younger generation has zero clue what REAL hard work is. That's just the way it is now. I accept it but don't like it.
