It's makes perfect sense, you carry a dog everywhere in purse or carrier makes you look like a bitch.

If that makes me a bitch than I'm a bitch. I will always take our dog to the farm rather than leave him here in this concrete jungle by himself.

One of the last times I flew a veteran was sitting across from me in the first row of coach. I didn't even notice until halfway through the flight that he had a yellow lab with him... the dog didn't make a sound the entire flight, just chilled the whole time.

As a general rule, if the drive is 12 hours or less I drive to avoid airports, airlines, and random people in general. I'm considering bumping that up a bit to 15 hours.

People do not usually clap en masse in situations like this unless someone was being a real dick.

Yep. I highly doubt it went the way this article explained. Especially since it said people in the back clapped. They weren't privately speaking with an attendant and scratching an itch if people in the back of the plane are applauding their departure.

Screw the morons who bring animals on planes. Leave your damned dog or cat at home or in a kennel where they belong. I had three dogs and never considered bringing them everywhere with me. The service pet crap is a bunch of bullshite.

Allegiant Airlines - all you need to know regarding a large number of the passengers.

You're a good parent though... and thoughtful of others.... I've seen some parents who will throw off the whole kitchen at a restaurant because their kid can't have gluten or each anything that touches it.

My favorite is when the flight is late to a hub, and they announce that anyone that doesn't have a quick connection should stay seated and let the passengers making connections exit first... then as soon as the plane touches down all 200+ people get up at once to get off.

My god this is infuriating if you're the one rushed to make a connection.

I will never do this to someone else because I know how it feels. Has happened to me in Atlanta several times and that's the worst.

So what did the really family do to draw the ire of the passengers? Not even close to the whole story I bet.
