What part of double-yellow line/no-passing lane don't you understand?

This is 100% true. Now if the vehicle is passing in a no-passing zone, that's different.

thank you.

I never said this what true in a no passing zone. In fact, I specifically made that clear in my post.

This is only true when in a passing zone of course.

Reading comprehension, try it.

The OP didn't say anything about it being a no passing zone. I was simply stating what the law is where passing is allowed.

I think he was just talking in general. If you are legal able to pass, it is the driver that is turning left's responsibility to make sure the opposing lane is clear before he/she makes the turn.

In a wreck happening with the event described here, if you and your children are harmed/killed...Darwin would have come for you not him. Especially if he was not killed or if he had children not with him and he was killed...

So, learn what Darwinian fitness is while you're on the internet with this rant and learning about traffic laws.

Thanks for changing the future tense to the past tense to change the meaning of my post. Solid level of dishonest argument there. Congrats.

And Trust me, Darwin is coming for this guy. It's just a matter of when. That wasn't an isolated event. That's how this guy drives. Let's hope it's not you and yours that learn about the whole Darwin thing.

Meh, I can see that being your retort, and it's might be valid. However, you are implying a hypothetical wreck involving you and your children in which this guy was a participant and then related that to his fitness and not yours. So...

Still doesn't change the fact that you are using Darwinian fitness incorrectly.

Also, has Charles Darwin become some sort of boogeyman? I'm sure the intelligent designers are behind this somehow. Ha.

What I did was tell you how he recklessly he drives and explained where that might lead for him. Not too hard to understand. Unless your need to be a pompous contrarian jackass exceeds your need for intellectual honesty.

Then why bring up "killing a car full of children" if that was your whole point?

Speaking of intellectual dishonesty, thanks for the ad hominem attack.

The argument was about passing via a legal passing zone and turning left. We all think the OP was not at fault as that was a no passing zone.

It was about the passing zone question that we were arguing about.

Passing zone, left turn guy at fault.
NO passing zone, passer at fault.

Has anyone told you that you'd be at fault for that accident?

You should always make sure no one is passing you when taking a left on a two lane road

I don't know which car Darwin is driving but the above is correct.

Passing some car that is turning left may always be stupid but it isn't always illegal.
