Just a guess, but I would say weather had as much to do with it as anything. I drove by there around 1:30 in the afternoon and it was JAMMED UP!!! I started thinking about it and Saturday was one of the few Saturdays that we have had this summer where rain was not in the forecast.
Just a guess. I could be wrong.

It's honestly no different from when they were having concerts 9 years ago when I started working there. People used to fall out all the time. It's just now people have a pretty widespread vehicle (Facebook) to complain on.
This is a lot less crowded than they have been in the past.

People were talking about this at work yesterday. Said every time they posted a negative comment on their facebook Blue Bayou would remove it. Heard that you had to write a review so that it couldn't be removed.
Blue Bayou is trying to reduce the negative image from this overcrowding they experienced but it doesn't look like it is going away anytime soon.

The owner called me a bum bc I didn't shave. The owners friend however resembled nick nolte, hulk hogan, and rod Stewart all into one person

It was $4/hour + a bonus of $2/hour if you make it to the end of the season. 90% of people get fired or quit by the end of the season so they don't get that $2/hour bonus.

I'm shocked that people wanted to see that bad so darn bad. Hell, it's not exactly Pearl Jam playing at Blue Bayou. I don't even know one single song that they sing, but then again, I'm old.
