They've been building some nice condos on the west end of PCB. Heard they were priced high enough to keep the trash out.

Yeah those Spring Breakers don't pump Millions into the local economy each year...

What they bring in does not make up for the millions lost because almost no one other than the party crowd goes to PC. They do far more harm than good to the overall economy of PC. Everyone knows kids want to go to the beach and party. But in PC it's gone too far and they've driven everyone else away. That's why PC is now looked at as a shite hole.

Panama City Beach has been synonymous with trash since the 90's. Give me Destin, screw Panama City Beach.

I guarantee the people causing most of the problems are the older non spring breakers who are coming in to exploit the drunk college kids.
I've been saying it for years, they should rope off a large section of the beach during spring break and give wrist bands to people with college IDs. If you're not a student, you can't get in.
Obviously this won't solve all the problems and shite like this could still happen, but it would help

I agree, although I will say don't knock PC Spring Break until you do it once. I don't think I'll want to do it again (especially since I'm not in college anymore). But im glad I did it once

Excellent point. But it's wasted on anyone who still goes on spring break. From their perspective, they're a benefit to the economy.

You take that back now or we're no longer friends.

Destin's trash factor is nowhere near the level of Panama City Beach. Yeah, there are trash because of the damn giant highrises that went up, but Destin wasn't always like that. I remember as a kid having a house on the beach with nothing near us at all. Then the giant condos came and really changed the atmosphere. Sad really.

Glad we don't allow alcohol on the beach here in NE FL. Keeps the tourists and spring breakers to a minimum.

Because not giving a shite is how they get run out of places like PC. Then you'll all piss and moan about not having anywhere to go.

I'd be cancelling/moving any vacation that was to a beach that banned alcohol
