not doing any particular program right now, but I'm 3 for 3 this week in workouts. combination of lifting and cardio/core stuff. I"m sore as a mutha after doing squats/legs yesterday. Another CArdio/Core workout today. gottta hit 180 lbs by Feb 1 or at least lose a lot of belly fat by then.

started low and did 10/4 but the pullups were assisted.
only thing that was hard was he wide grip pushups. i will go up next time on the pushups for sure.

Fwiw, the best purchase I ever made was the pullup assist band. I never use it now, but it helped me progress a whole lot quicker than with a chair.
If you're using it, it will be collecting dust in the closet in no time.

yea i have multiple bands for this but it isn't the ones beachbody sales.
and i can do pullups without it but only like 5 dead hang and only for the first set, I am spent after that. So no way could i make it through a video like the challenge without some assist.

Did The Incinerator tonight. Great workout.
Well, my muscles are much bigger. I've lost the 6-pack, however. It really pisses me off.
I don't want to talk about it. It's fricking bullshite.

Day 4 of insanity max in the books. I heard Friday night fight which is the workout tomorrow is the worst one. I just got to make it through tomorrow so I can give my body a two day break

I bet it's ridiculous. Keep pushing. It's going to pay off.

Week one down. Thankfully my body gets to rest these next 2 days

Just finished week 2 of Max30 and Friday Fight is definitely a bastard. Good luck and eat a snack and drink some coffee before you do it.

I have cvx tonight. I accidentally had switched yoga and the challenge, but back on track now

finished week two of X3 Mass schedule. I like this a lot more than the regular schedule. Pilates kicks my but, and followed by incinerator today.

Mass Schedule gets boring.
If I can't start BodyBeast after this round, I'm going back to X2. Or I may do P90X.

Why wouldn't you be able to start body beast?

Sabo - you mentioned that you had your best results from X2. I like X3 regular schedule, but I just did not see the results that I wanted (could be product of expectations). With this schedule it feels like I am getting results a little quicker (more of what I expected from the regular).
I started P90 back in 2004(probably when it was first released), but lost the cd's in a move. I never finished, but the three weeks that I did the program led to some great results.
How do you compare P90X and X2?

Mass Schedule helped me, too. I just found it a little boring, that's all.
X2 is tougher than P90X by a lot, imo. It's because you're doing things on an unstable surface. Every move is a balance move. My best pullup numbers came in X2.
However, Ab Ripper X is better than X2 Ab Ripper, imo.
I think P90X is the best one for getting big, but X2 is the best for getting shredded and strong.

I never did X2 it looked boring. X3 I will be doing that forever though. It's so easy to motivate myself being only 30 minutes.
